Introduction: The period which we spend in schools, colleges or universities to receive education is called the student life. It is the best part of our life. During this time we have no cares and anxieties of the world.
Importance: In our boyhood we are sent to school and our student life begins. It lasts until we enter into our worldly life. At schools and colleges we come in close touch with teachers and other students. This gives us the opportunity to acquire knowledge and receive the lesson of fellow feeling.
A seed-time of human life: Student life is called the seed time of human life. If we work hard and do all our duties as a student faithfully, we are sure to achieve success in life. But if we fail to do our duties as a student, we must suffer much in later life. So we must be sincere to our duties in student life.
Main duty of a student: The main duty of a student is to acquire knowledge. In student life we have to read the prescribed text-books. During our leisure, we should read newspapers and magazines. We should also borrow good books from the library to read them. It will give us information about many things of the world.
Extra-curricular activities: In schools and colleges, we get the opportunity to take part in many extra-curricular activities. We can join the debate. We can contribute articles to the magazine and cultivate our power of writing.
An ideal student: An ideal student finds much interest in preparing his lessons at home regularly. He goes to school regularly and punctually. At school he obeys his teachers and listens to them attentively. He is intelligent, modest and hardy. He loves all and all loves him.
Social service/ Voluntary works: During our holidays we can render some voluntary social services as imparting education to the illiterate mass, mending roads, pools etc.
Conclusion: Thus the student life is the time to prepare ourselves for the battle of our life if in future. So we should be careful to cultivate good habits and give up bad ones.
