 Introduction: The horse is a domestic animal. He is pretty and noble.

 Description: The horse has four legs. His head and neck are long. He has mane on the neck. He has no horns. His body is covered with soft glossy hair.

 Kinds: Horses are of different kinds. The Arabian horses are very swift. The Australian horses are very large. The Burmese horses are small. Horse differs in sizes and colours.

 Where found: Horses are found all over the world. Wild horses are found in some forests.

 Food: The horse feed on grass, gram, straw, bran etc.

 Nature: The horse is a gentle. He is intelligent. He is faithful to his master. He can be trained easily. Horse can show many tricks of they are trained. They can run fast. They are hardly too. They sleep standing. They are harmless but they kick or bite if they are irritated. Wild horse lives in herds in forests. The horse has a strong sense of smell.

 Usefulness: The horse is very useful. He draws the plough and the carriage. He is used for hunting and riding. He is also used in war. The police and the army use him. Trained horses are used by circus parties to show many tricks. They are also used in races. Their skins and bones are useful.

 Conclusion: The horse is a great friend of man. He serves his master very faithfully. So everyone should be kind to them.
